Lovely walks in the area, around the mere, Sandstone Trail and along the canal. Good centre to visit places of interest in Shropshire and Cheshire. Ms B, Leek, Staffordshire 23 November 2010
Fantastic location and a lovely cosy cottage. The village is beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for a lovely relaxing break. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas and some great walks for the dog. We will definitely come back! Mrs W, MILTON KEYNES, Buckinghamshire 05 May 2010
I woud recommend this cottage to others and already have! Excellent accommodation, centrally located with lots of interesting walks, good country pubs and food and interesting places to visit within 20-30 miles (castles, towns/citites such as Chester and Shrewsbury, etc). Mr H, Andover, Hampshire 13 April 2010
A fantastic holiday cottage which was really cosy and practical. The owner was incredibly helpful both with directions as well as local info. Mrs R, EXMOUTH, Devon 30 January 2010
We absolutely loved this cottage as did our 7, 4 and 2 year olds. It's so very, very homely with beamed walls and ceilings and open fire. There was more than enough room for the five of us. The furnishings are contemporary but very much match the house. The kitchen is a warm and sociable space just right for cooking the family meals or sitting round the big table reading the morning papers. Whilst to us this is quintessentially a Christmas house I'm sure in summer it would be equally wonderful with a lovely secure garden and very splendid morning room overlooking the garden. Mrs P, BROMLEY, Kent 29 December 2009
